It looks the same to me, but I use Tab Mix Plus to customize the tabs' appearance, so I don't know if that's what you're talking about.

It looks the same as it has for me for a while now. I hate the way it shows downloads though, that's annoying.

You can restore the old downloader. Got to about:config, search for browser.download.useToolkitUI and set it to true.

And it looks the same as it always has for me too.

When they announced that Firefox 23 removed the option to turn off JavaScript, it made me so pissed off that I immediately uninstalled it and downloaded Opera. Yeah, about:config or an extension would bring the option back, but the principle of the thing, removing useful functionality, is shameful. Evil or Very Mad

I'm the complete opposite. I always hated how downloads were their own window, so having a tiny icon that fills like a battery indicator is an awesome solution.

I'm stuck with Chrome and its autocratic interface. It has my needed extensions and its killer feature (for me): Sync. I like my UI unified and minimal, consarn it!

Me, I have a burning hate for interfaces that deviate from the system's standards. See, pretty much every system has something called "human interface guidelines", which any wise developer will obey and venerate like a holy book, and be extremely careful if they ever decide to deviate from it. Sadly, there's an insane trend for browser developers to use these guidelines to wipe their butts. And speaking of butts, I'd love to give those people a good paddlin'.

I can see a lot of people would like it, but for some reason I don't. It's one of the reasons that I can't use Chrome.

Thats awesome! Thanks Roofus I didn't know you could change it back. I never have cared for the new download indicator either but I just dealt with it as it wasn't that big of a deal. I'm glad to have the old window back, so much more convenient for me.

just me then it seems, pretty messed up in some ways but I guess in others at least it makes things a bit easier to see, even though my sight is fairly stable now & unlikely to change any further

Used Chrome for the last 6 or so years. Much faster than that bloated Firefox bollocks.

I still love Firefox. I hate Chrome. I find it hangs on certain webpages, and also not thrilled with Google having all my browsing history. Those cunts know enough.

But I agree Firefox is bloated. I just prefer it to anything else.

Frankly all browsers are shit in some fashion. But at least we can all point and laugh at IE as one.

I work for one of the geekiest ISPs in Australia and we have to use IE because our parent company thinks it's a good idea to incorporate it into our systems Sad
